Introduction to Pneumatics

One-Day Workshop in Racine, WI

In this day-long Introduction to Pneumatics course taught by an SMC representative you will learn about compressed air theory, air compression and distribution, directional control valves, system sizing application examples, and schematic, symbol and circuit practicum.

Course objectives:*

  • Understand compressed air production, purification and distribution

  • Understand the construction and the operation of components in a typical pneumatic control system

  • Identify and use control schematics

  • Design, build and troubleshoot pneumatic circuits
