Machinery Safeguarding Basics

One-Day Workshop in Racine, WI

Nelson Electric welcomes you to our full-day workshop on machinery safeguarding. Nelson’s Industrial Control & Sensor/Safety Specialist Jeff Genac will discuss topics to ensure that you understand the necessary concepts to provide a safe work environment for your employees.

The topics covered will include:

  • Safety system categories and how they affect you

  • Risk assessment procedures to determine the proper category needed for your machines

  • Pertinent US and European standards and laws

  • Machine safeguarding components used to comply with the standards

A solid understanding of these concepts can improve productivity, employee morale, and reduce lost work time due to injury. Maintenance Personnel, Safety Team members and Machine Design personnel at your facility would all benefit by attending this course.
